Springfield, PA (October 25, 2016) —The Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of America, honored Delco Business Leader Robert Linn with its 2016 Delco Good Scout Award at a special reception and program in his honor on Tuesday, October 25 at the Springfield Country Club in Springfield, PA.

Philadelphia, PA (October 19, 2016) — The Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of America (COLBSA) hosted its 4th annual Philadelphia Encampment this past weekend at the Lighthouse Field in Kensington. The Philadelphia Encampment is a three-day camping experience for local Scouts of all ages. Over 500 Scouts and more than 80 COLBSA volunteers and staff participated in this year’s event, which featured a host of outdoor activities, games, team-building exercises and skills training. St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and the National Constitution Center also offered additional offsite activities for interested Scouts.

Wayne, PA (October 4, 2016) — The Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of America announced today that Felicia R. Phillips, MDiv, has joined the non-profit organization as director of marketing communications. In her new role, she is responsible for heightening awareness of the Cradle of Liberty Council’s programs and activities through traditional and new media and increasing scouting enrollment in Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware counties.

2016 Pinewood Derby World Championships
COL brings home a trophy from the 2016 Pinewood Derby World Championships which was held in the heart of Times
Square on Saturday, June 25th. Scouts from as far away as California were there to capture the racing crown.
JJ is in Pack 36 of Gilbertsville and WON the Pro Stock Division (and that HUGE trophy).
